Other Site Characteristics

Natural dry grasslands on sand predominate. On humid areas the hay meadows and alluvial grasslands are characteristic as well as the tall Carex vegetation. At the humid places spontaneous patches of willow forests can be found. One polygon of the site is covered by artificial and mostly alien species formed forests but with many bats present. In the forest a few fish-ponds can be found.

Általános célkitűzések: A Natura 2000 terület természetvédelmi célkitűzése az azon található, a kijelölés alapjául szolgáló fajok és élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének megőrzése, fenntartása, helyreállítása, valamint a Natura 2000 területek lehatárolásának alapjául szolgáló természeti állapot és a kedvező természetvédelmi állapottal összhangban lévő gazdálkodás feltételeinek biztosítása. Fő célkitűzések: A területen található nedves rétek kíméletes időszakos legeltetéssel történő fenntartása. A terület gyepeinek megőrzése, megfelelő vízgazdálkodás biztosítása. A túlnyomó részt mezőgazdasági, lakó és ipari területekkel övezett természetközeli és féltermészetes élőhelyek védelmének biztosítása, a kedvezőtlen hatások kiküszöbölése. További célok és célkitűzések: Megfelelő vízállapot fenntartása a nedves élőhelyeken. A vízfolyások mellett kialakult és erősen degradálódó szegélytársulások természetességének javítása kaszálással, inváziós fajok visszaszorításával. A terület szárazodó láprétjei vízháztartásának javítása célzott beavatkozásokkal (vízvisszatartás). A kis kiterjedésben megtalálható, idős puhafa ligetekben az erdészeti tevékenység minimalizálása. A közösségi jelentőségű gyepes élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének fenntartása a gyep cserjésedésének, az inváziós fajok terjedésének elsősorban legeltetés útján történő megakadályozásával, az élőhelyre jellemző, védett növényfajoknak (pl. Ophrys sphegodes, Iris arenaria, Iris sibirica, I. spuria) megőrzésével. A feltört gyepek rehabilitációja. A területet érintő részletes felmérések elkészítése, kiemelt figyelemmel a terület jelölő és egyéb közösségi jelentőségű fajaira és élőhelyeire.
