Other Site Characteristics

The site includes the steep slope of the region Pócalja next to the settlement of Bicske. In the surroundings of the site an intensively used agricultural area is situated. The only reason for the survival of the loess grasslands was that they are on such a steep slope that it excludes the possibility of agricultural use. In the bottom of the site a stream runs. One particle of the site was a sand pit. A small part of the area is afforested by black locust but as it is not a closed forest, the original loess vegetation is present in the understorey.

Kiemelt fontosságú cél a következő fajok/élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének megőrzése/helyreállítása: Kiemelt közösségi jelentőségű élőhelytípus: 6250 Síksági pannon löszgyepek. Due to the favourable conditions in the area, the whole region is under cultivation, except for this site, which remained in its original state representing an important landscape and biological asset.

Általános célkitűzések: A Natura 2000 terület természetvédelmi célkitűzése az azon található, a kijelölés alapjául szolgáló fajok és élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének megőrzése, fenntartása, helyreállítása, valamint a Natura 2000 területek lehatárolásának alapjául szolgáló természeti állapot és a kedvező természetvédelmi állapottal összhangban lévő gazdálkodás feltételeinek biztosítása. Specifikus célok: Kedvező természetvédelmi helyzet megőrzése: A jó állapotú síksági pannon löszgyepek természetszerű szerkezetének, fajkészletének megőrzése. Kedvező természetvédelmi helyzet elérése érdekében szükséges fejlesztés: Invazív fajok, különösen a fehér akác, keskenylevelű ezüstfa által veszélyeztetett jelölő gyeptársulás megóvása a degradációtól, az invazív fajok terjedésének megállítása, állományaik csökkentése. Az aktuális természeti állapothoz igazodó legeltetési/kaszálási rendszer kialakítása és megvalósítása a síksági pannon löszgyepek területén a túlhasználat/alulhasználat elkerülése érdekében. Az élőhelyeket veszélyeztető egyéb tevékenységek (pl.: gépjármű forgalom, motocross) megszüntetése, a jogilag nem létező, de kijárt földutak felszámolása A becserjésedés miatt leromlott síksági pannon löszgyepek visszaalakítása, és extenzív használattal való fenntartása.
