Általános célkitűzések: A Natura 2000 terület természetvédelmi célkitűzése az azon található, a kijelölés alapjául szolgáló fajok és élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének megőrzése, fenntartása, helyreállítása, valamint a Natura 2000 területek lehatárolásának alapjául szolgáló természeti állapot és a kedvező természetvédelmi állapottal összhangban lévő gazdálkodás feltételeinek biztosítása. Specifikus célok és végrehajtandó intézkedések: - A gyepek jelenlegi állapotának fenntartását célzó legeltetési/kaszálási rendszer fenntartása. A fő cél a területen mozaikosan található rétek, láprétek, fűzláp foltok fennmaradásának biztosítása, a láprétek cserjésedésének megakadályozása, a kaszálások időpontjának a védendő fajok (vérfű-hangyaboglárka, réti angyalgyökér) életciklusához igazítása; - Az érintett belvízlevezető szerepű csatornák jelenleginél kíméletesebb kezelése-fenntartása (kotrás, vízi növényzet irtása stb.), rajtuk további záró műtárgyak létesítése a területet drénező hatás mérséklésére; - Bolygatott, nyílt területek gyomirtó kaszálása, égetése; - Inváziós, valamint tájidegen fa-, cserje- és lágyszárú fajok (akác, kései meggy, gyalogakác, zöldjuhar, aranyvessző fajok stb.) folyamatos visszaszorítása. Az ilyen fajok uralta, tervezett erdőkben fafajcsere őshonos, a tájra, és élőhelyekre természetesen jellemző fajokra. Amennyiben ezen inváziós fajok őshonosak mellett, elegyben vannak jelen, folyamatosan eltávolítandók, sarj- és újulatképződésük megakadályozandó; - Az érintett, legalább karakterében őshonos fafajú (természetes, féltermészetes) erdőfoltokban olyan erdőkezelési módszer bevezetése, mely a folyamatos erdőborítást (tarvágás és teljes talaj-előkészítés és tuskózás mellőzése), valamint az idős (részben odvas) faegyedek és holt faanyag kellő arányú meglétét is biztosítja; - A terület nagyvadállományának olyan szinten tartása, ami nem akadályozza az egészséges erdődinamikát és nem veszélyezteti a gyeptársulásokat sem; General management plan exists.
