4.2 Quality and importance

Il sito ha mantenuto discrete condizioni di naturalità anche grazie ad un parziale isolamento rispetto ai territori limitrofi e all'estensione del patrimonio forestale. Buona la situazione faunistica tra cui spicca Lynx lynx, di recente comparsa. Significativi popolamenti di Ungulati selvatici e di Galliformi.
