E' stata rilevata la presenza dell'habitat di interesse regionale codice CORINE 53.21 ( sup.coperta 0,7% della superficie del sito).

4.2 Quality and importance

Sito di rilevante interesse naturalistico, caratterizzato da una buona varietà di habitat idro-igrofili appartenenti alla medesima serie successionale, oltre che dal bosco misto caducifoglio mesoigrofilo (Querco Ulmeto) che presenta buona struttura e componente floristica. E' da segnalare la presenza in fossi esterni al SIC di specie caratteristiche di acque correnti quali: Polygonum hydropiper, Nasturtium officinale, Ceratophyllum demersum e la presenza di Lemna minor nei pressi delle chiuse dei suddetti fossi. Si veda la relazione sugli aspetti vegetazionali e faunistici per indicazioni di maggiore dettaglio sulla qualità e importanza del sito.
