Vallecola del versante orografico sinistro della Val di Non (Trentino occidentale) con foreste di abete bianco, a cui fanno da contorno faggete e peccete. Sono presenti habitat di particolare interesse non compresi nell'all.I della direttiva 92/43/CEE: Carici albae - Abietetum.

4.2 Quality and importance

Sito di grande importanza per la presenza di boschi di abete bianco, in regressione su tutta la catena alpina. Nei differenti siti censiti, sono sviluppate associazioni diverse di abete bianco. Il sito è di rilevante interesse nazionale e/o provinciale per la presenza e la riproduzione di specie animali in via di estinzione, importanti relitti glaciali, esclusive e/o tipiche delle Alpi.
