Other Site Characteristics

Zone umide caratterizzate da specie turficole oggi in regresso. area interessante e nota per il notevole flusso migratorio, testimoniato dall'intensa attività venatoria in atto e dalla presenza di appostamenti per l'uccellagione (praticata fino agli anni '50). Habitat riproduttivo per Rana Temporaria e, occasionalmente, Triturus alpestris.

Complesso di zone umide con deposito di torba su substrato siliceo, localizzate su ampia sella di origine glaciale. Boschi di conifere e prati magri abbandonati. Habitat riproduttivo per anfibi Anuri e Urodeli. Transito di uccelli migratori.
