| Faggeti del Luzulo-Fagetum; faggeti dell'Asperulo-Fagetum; faggeti calcicoli (Cephalanthero-Fagion); foreste montane di Picea abies; foreste di Picea abies con sfagno e torbiere; comunità di erbe subalpine ed alpine; praterie montane; torbiere alte attive. |
4.2 Quality and importance
| Piccola valle stretta e senza sbocco, caratterizzata dal fenomeno dell'inversione termica. Intenso fenomeno carsico evidenziato dalla presenza di numerose doline e, nelle zone argillose, dalla formazione dipozze di acqua stagnante ("lame"). Sito importante per l'aspetto paesaggistico, ecologico, botanico e naturalistico per la presenza di specie rare legate agli habitat umidi e di cenosi rupicole caratteristiche del settore alpino sud-orientale.
Zona di vetta con rocce affioranti con intenso e diffuso processo morfogenetico di natura carsica che da origine a doline, vaschette di erosione, solchi carsici. La mancanza di circolazione idrica superficiale ha permesso la formazione di ampie pianure sommitali.
Importante per l'aspetto paesaggistico e per i siti ecologici, botanici e naturalistici, per la presenza di specie rare e di cenosi rupicole caratteristiche del settore SE alpino. |
