Other Site Characteristics

Zona remota e selvatica della bassa montagna cesenate caratterizzata da antichi insediamenti rurali alternati a boschi mesofili e termofili e da consistenti lembi di vegetazione mediterranea su versanti più caldi. Estesi arbusteti con prevalenza di Juniperus oxycedrus e praterie termoxerofile con fauna soprattutto ornitica correlata. Il sito fa parte di un complesso forestale demaniale a partire dagli anni '70 circa.
