Other Site Characteristics

Tre rami del Bidente, ben conservati, fino alla confluenza, e il monte Marino, con popolazione di Juniperus oxycedrus, compreso fra due dei rami fluviali. Sorgenti pietrificanti; vegetazione fluviale.

Specie vegetali CORINE appendice K: Typha minima.Specie vegetali RARE: Typha minima.Specie animali: Potamon fluviatile: specie estremamente localizzata, indicatrice di elevata qualità ambientale, presente in torrenti e ruscelli appenninici.Sito importante per la qualità delle acque del fiume, con notevoli popolazioni di Barbus plebejus, Austropotamobius pallipes e Potamon fluviale (uno dei due unici siti regionali conosciuti).
