Other Site Characteristics

I litotipi sono attribuiti alle formazioni del calcare massiccio di Monte Nerone, dalla formazione del Bugarone, dalla maiolica, dalle marne a fucoidi, dalla scaglia bianca e dalla scaglia rossa. La vegetazione è costituita da faggete, orno-ostrieti e da pascoli.

4.2 Quality and importance

L'area è importante dal punto di vista biogeografico e geologico per la presenza di specie floristiche tra le quali emergono Berberis vulgaris, Lonicera alpigena, Festuca dimorpha; dal punto di vista geomorfologico è da rilevare la presenza di fenomeni carsici.

Sono in vigore: 1) Misure di conservazione generali consultabili linkando a: - http://www.norme.marche.it/Delibere/2008/DGR1471_08.pdf - http://www.norme.marche.it/Delibere/2009/DGR1036_09.pdf 2)Si segnala inoltre la presenza di 3 aree floristiche istituite ai sensi dell'articolo 7 della L.R. 52/1974 e, più precisamente, "Fondarca (Gruppo del Monte Nerone)","Gola di Gorgo a Cerbara" e "La Montagnola (Gruppo del Monte Nerone)"; la legge regionale dispone che in queste aree, soggette a tutela in quanto presenti specie floristiche rare o in via di estinzione, siano proibite la raccolta, l'estirpazione o il danneggiamento di tutte le piante spontanee. Sono comunque consentite le normali pratiche colturali nonché, negli incolti produttivi, il pascolo e la fienagione.
