Other Site Characteristics

Vasta area boscata, del settore orientale calcareo del massiccio del Monte Cucco (la cui cima è situata in territorio umbro). Particolarmente importante dal punto di vista biogeografico è la forra del Rio Freddo, che ospita una rara vegetazione relitta a Laurus nobilis.
