Other Site Characteristics

Spettacolare canyon scavato dal fiume Aterno nelle montagne calcaree tra Raiano e Molina Aterno. Il sito è caratterizzato da rupi e pendii scoscesi, con formazioni miste di sclerofille sempreverdi e di caducifoglie, boschi di carpino nero, gariche supramediterranee, mantelli e arbusteti a Cortinus coggygria e pascoli aridi, oltre a boscaglie ripariali di salici.
