CLIMA: regione temperata, termotipo collinare inferiore, ombrotipo subumido inferiore.

4.2 Quality and importance

Anche se non si evidenziano aspetti vegetazionali rilevanti, il sito ha una notevole importanza da un punto di vista paesaggistico geomorfologico nel contesto della valle del Trigno. Gli habitat a carattere rupicolo (6110 e 8210) e il 6220 si trovano tutti in buono stato di conservazione in quanto sono collocati o sulle morge o in loro stretta vicinanza, in stazioni non sempre facilmente raggiungibili. Allo stesso modo il 6210 è protetto dagli usi agricoli. L'habitat 91M0 risulta, invece, eccessivamente frammentato derivando da lembi marginali appartenenti a corpi forestali ben più estesi posti a nord e a sud del SIC. Ne risente la flora nemorale che spesso si mostra impoverita e ampiamente compenetrata di elementi caratterizzanti le cenosi di contatto. La limitazione dei fattori di pressione può nel tempo favorirne il recupero.
