Basso promontorio (altezza max 150 m) di origine sedimentaria (Calchereniti) della serie "Flish del Cilento.

4.2 Quality and importance

Tipico ambiente di macchia mediterranea in cui non sono pero' rari i lembi di bosco a caducifoglie e le praterie xerofile. Interessante zona per la nidificazione di Sylvia undata e per la migrazione di rapaci (Pandio haliaetus).
