Other Site Characteristics

Linteresse di questo sito è legato alla presenza di pinete a Pinus halepensis in buono stato di conservazione. Le pinete dal punto di vista fitosociologico sono riferibili allalleanza Oleo-Ceratonion dei Pistacio-Rhamnetalia alterni con uno strato arboreo dominato da Pinus halepensis al quale si associano Phyllirea angustifolia, Juniperus oxycedrus, Quercus ilex. Lo strato arbustivo è particolarmente ricco di specie fra le quali più frequenti sono Pistacia lentiscus, Myrtus communis, Calicotome infesta, Rosmarinus officinalis, ecc. Nel sito lo strato arbustivo è particolarmente ricco di Cistus salvifolius e Cistus incanus. Nel sito sono segnalati anche lembi di macchia caratterizzata fisionomicamente da Juniperus oxycedrus, a cui si associano Pistacia lentiscus, Rhamnus alaternus, Phillyrea latifoglia, Calicotome infesta.
