Other Site Characteristics

A typical complex of wet coniferous, deciduous and mixed forest. The oak is important tree species of the territory. The Black Alder stands predominated in the waterlogged areas. The area is under the influence of the drainage system established in 60-ies - 80-ies of the XX century.

Important breeding sites of Pernis apivorus, Bonasia bonasia, Grus grus, Glaucidium passerinum, Dryocopus martius, Dendrocopos medius, Picoides tridactylus threatened at the European Union level.
