Other Site Characteristics

Territory includes a complex small shallow lakes of different development stages. Some of them are filled with water while others are developing into wetland habitats. The major part of the territory area is overgrown with coniferous forests, while area is occupied by meadows is insignificant.

4.2 Quality and importance

Habitat of protected species in a good quality. Site is important for the connectivity of the species range. This is a valuable series of small lakes and wetlands of the same origin, but different age sustaining important populations of protected invertebrates. The population of Thesium ebracteatum is one of the largest in Lithuania
