Other Site Characteristics

The complex of woodland and 11 lakes (the largest one is Samavas - 555 ha) is situated on the moraine eminencies. The relief is especially diverse. Woodland covers more than 75%, while water - more than 20% of the total area. Waterways of the site belong to the basin of the Sventoji River.
