4.2 Quality and importance
The following data refer to the period 1993-1997 (data in paragraph 3.2a-b refer te period 1999-2003). For Oudegaasterbrekken: Species meeting the 1% threshold (non-breeding): Pink-footed Goose Anser brachyrhynchus (39,3%), Barnacle Goose Branta leucopsis (3,8%). For Fluessen en omgeving: Species meeting the 1% threshold (non-breeding): Barnacle Goose Branta leucopsis (3,4%). This site is a complex of lakes and adjacent wet grasslands, important for waterfowl. This is an important roost for geese Anser from surrounding feeding areas. Site largely overlaps with IBA061and IBA62 (IBA2000). |
