4.2 Quality and importance

One of the ten most important sites for the habitat type Calcareous fens with Cladium mariscus (7210). Used to be important for Lyceana dispar, now almost disappeared.New IBA 051-00 (van den Tempel & Osieck, 1994). Fine seminatural grasslands.
