Área de planície aberta, utilizada para agricultura cerealífera extensiva e pastoreio em regime extensivo. Inclui uma área de olival.

4.2 Quality and importance

Muito importante para a conservação de um conjunto de espécies com estatuto de conservação desfavorável, nomeadamente avifauna estepária. Área muito importante para a conservação do Sisão Tetrax tetrax e do Francelho Falco naumanni.
