Other Site Characteristics

Área de planície aberta, utilizada para agricultura cerealífera extensiva. Montados de azinho Quercus rotundifolia pouco densos, por vezes com cultura de cereal e pastoreio de gado ovino em regime extensivo. Pequenas áreas de olival e vinha.

4.2 Quality and importance

Muito importante para a conservação de um conjunto de espécies com estatuto de conservação desfavorável, nomeadamente avifauna estepária. Área muito importante para a conservação do Sisão Tetrax tetrax.
