situl Muntele Postavaru este situat intre Valea Cheii, Valea Timisului si Poiana Brasov.Temperaturile medii anuale sunt etajate conform altitudinii, avand valori de la 6-0g.Reteaua hidrografica este densa cu caracter radiar, apartinand in cea mai mare parte bazinului hidrografic al Oltului.Afluentii mai importanti: Timisul, Ghimbaselul si Valea Rasnoavei.;
