Other Site Characteristics

Situl Nemira – Lapos este situat în Carpații Orientali, în zona Munților Nemirei. Zona montană din teritoriul sitului se caracterizează prin evidența unor culmi evidente, bine conturate, vălurate, cu unele vârfuri proeminente. Între aceste culmi, cu orientări mai mult sau mai puțin paralele se află depresiuni alungite și străbatute de pâraie. Formația geologică predominantă din cadrul sitului este cea a flișurilor din Carpații Orientali. Formele de relief cele mai des întâlnite sunt versanții cu înclinări repezi și foarte repezi.Din punct de vedere climatic situl se încadrează într-un climat de munte (IV) ținut climatic de munți mijlocii (C), fiind caracterizat prin regim termic moderat, cu oscilații diurne mai reduse.Vânturile predominante bat din direcția N-NE, cu variații de intensitate din cauza văilor orientate în direcții diferite. In ceea ce privește clasele de habitate, predomină pădurile de amestec (cca. 61%), urmate de pădurile de rășinoase (cca. 27%) , pădurile de foioase (cca.3%), pășunile și pajiștile (8%) și alte terenuri (1%). Pădurile, care reprezintă vegetatia primara pentru acest sit, se încadrează în marea lor majoritate în etajele montan de molidișuri și montan de amestecuri. Pădurile se află în raza OS Dărmănești UP III, UP VI și UP IX (conform Amenajamentului din 2006), OS Comănești, UPIII (conform Amenajametului din 1994) și OS Sânmartin, UP VIII (conform Amenajamentului din1995).;

4.2 Quality and importance

Sit de importanță majoră pentru carnivorele mari rezidente, Canis lupus, Ursus arctos și Lynx lynx, care ar funcționa și ca coridor ecologic între SCIul existent Creasta Nemirei (inadecvat în forma actuală conservării speciilor de carnivore mari), respectiv situl propus Munții Goșmani. Sit important desemnat pentru habitatele forestiere 9410 (Acidophilous Picea forests of the montane to alpine levels (Vaccinio-Piceetea)). Sit de importanță ridicată pentru speciile de lilieci listate. De importanță ridicată și pentru Lutra lutra, și speciile de amfibieni Bombina și Triturus.;
