Situl este important pentru speciile de pesti Aspius aspius, Rhodeus amarus, Gobio albipinnatus, Gobio kessleri si vidra (Lutra lutra). Habitatul din acest sit prezinta conditii favorabile de sustinere a populatiilor speciilor de pesti mentionate mai sus. ;
