Other Site Characteristics

Bråtorps lund is situated on the shore of lake Mälaren.

4.2 Quality and importance

This broad-leaved deciduous woodland is rich in spcies -especially vascular plants in spring and cryptogams . Old huge oaks and dead wood makes Bråtorps lund even more interesting. At least three red listed species have been found here. For example: Chaenotheca chlorella -a "care demanding" lichen.
