Other Site Characteristics
| Isberga nature reserve is situated in the open farming land that characterize the middle of stergtland. The slightly hilly landscape in and around the reserve was created at the end of the last glaciation period. During a stagnation period of the melting a lot of sand, gravel and moraine were deposit in the area. The nature reserve is open with bushes growing in the pasture-land and arable land surrounding the pastures. |
4.2 Quality and importance
| The nature reserve of Isberga has a very high value connected with both the geology and the flora. The plant Oxytropis pilosa has one of its 6 locations on the swedish landside in the reserve. |
