Other Site Characteristics
| Heda-Uttersberg is situated in the open plain in the middle of the county stergtland. The surrounding landscape is open with big fields and only few clumps of trees. The slightly hilly landscape in and around the site was created at the end of the last glaciation period. During a stagnation period of the melting a lot of sand, gravel and moraine were deposit in the area. The nature reserve is open with bushes growing in the pasture-land and arable land surrounding the pastures.
The site consist of open dry grassland with some bushes of Juniperus communis. The site is also of historical interest since there are some old graves situated in the grassland. |

| The site Heda-Uttersberg holds very high biological and geological values with a lot of characteristic species and interesting fauna. Heda- Uttersberg has few similarities in the county stergtland. |
