Other Site Characteristics

A natural pasture in an undulating coastal area by the lake Unden. It consists of meadows and pastures with birch, ash, aspen and hazel. Part of the area is mowed annually, while most is graced. This brings a flora with several demanding plant species and a beautiful landscape.

4.2 Quality and importance

In the pastures and meadows there are species favoured by gracing, mowing and nitrogen poor conditions. The area is considered being a landscape worth preserving from a national perspective, according to the National Conservation Plan for the Agricultural Landscape.
