Kråketorpsskogen utgörs av en relativt orörd mosaik av myrmark och gammal barrskog. Tvärs över myrmarken rinner ett vattendrag som på mitten vidgar sig till en liten sjö. Området utgör en del av ett större sammanhängande, skyddat skogsområde.
