Varierad betesmark med höga naturvärden knutna till den artrika floran och till de gamla och grova träden.

4.2 Quality and importance

Artrik betesmark med bl.a. backtimjan, darrgräs, slåttergubbe, svinrot, ängsvädd, klasefibbla och stor blåklocka. Förekomsten av hassel, blåsippa, gullviva och brudbröd indikerar basmineralpåverkan. Höga naturvärden är också knutna till trädskiktet, främst till de grova, gamla ekarna och asparna, som har en mycket värdefull moss- och lavflora. Här finns t ex klippfrullania, grynig filtlav, fällmossa, lunglav och sotlav. En del av ekarna är ihåliga och innehåller mulm. I mulmen lever en mängd olika insekter. Flera av dessa mulmlevare är idag utrotningshotade.
