Other Site Characteristics
| Meadow orchards in an apple orchard district. Close to lake Åsnen, the climate is especially mild and favours wild growing fruit trees. Wild apple has been known in the area since ancient times. Grass growing beneath fruit trees is species-rich and either cut or animals are allowed to graze. In the area there are also valuable stonewalls. |

| One of the few still maintained species-rich meadows and pastures in an ancient apple orchard district. The area is situated next to lake Åsnen which is a Ramsar wetland. |
