Other Site Characteristics

The site is located on the north part of the Skäggenäs peninsula. The ground is covered with gravel or a wave-washed sandy morain. The site includes a couple of islets being a part of the locally typical morain archipelago.The mainland at Lindö partly consists of a wooded pasture, now becoming overgrown, with hollow oaks, and a meadow, now also becoming overgrown, with very thick hollow lime trees (Tilia) which have previously been pollarded.

Osmoderma eremita is present at the site. Broad-leaved forest, wooded pastures and small wetlands with nationally endangered species.
