Other Site Characteristics

A representative part of the moraine archipelago of the Swedish south-east coast along the Kalmarsund. Several islands and islets of which the main part is covered with coniferous or mixed woodland. The bedrock is mainly of cambrian sandstone though quartzite occur rarely in the most northern part.
