Berggrunden utgrs av ordovicisk kalksten verlagrad med en lerig morn. |

| Syftet r att bevara en naturskogsartad dellvskog av ek-ask-almtyp med dess fauna och flora i gynnsamt tillstnd samt att bevara och hvda ngsmarken s att dess botaniska vrden kan best. Rik flora av krlvxter och kryptogamer med frekomst av ett flertal hotade och sllsynta lavar och svampar. |
