- PF: for the habitat types that can have a non-priority as well as a priority form (6210, 7130, 9430) enter "X" in the column PF to indicate the priority form.
- NP: in case that a habitat type no longer exists in the site enter: x (optional)
- Cover: decimal values can be entered
- Caves: for habitat types 8310, 8330 (caves) enter the number of caves if estimated surface is not available.
- Data quality: G = 'Good' (e.g. based on surveys); M = 'Moderate' (e.g. based on partial data with some extrapolation); P = 'Poor' (e.g. rough estimation)

- Group: A = Amphibians, B = Birds, F = Fish, I = Invertebrates, M = Mammals, P = Plants, R = Reptiles
- S: in case that the data on species are sensitive and therefore have to be blocked for any public access enter: yes
- NP: in case that a species is no longer present in the site enter: x (optional)
- Type: p = permanent, r = reproducing, c = concentration, w = wintering (for plant and non-migratory species use permanent)
- Unit: i = individuals, p = pairs or other units according to the Standard list of population units and codes in accordance with Article 12 and 17 reporting (see reference portal)
- Abundance categories (Cat.): C = common, R = rare, V = very rare, P = present - to fill if data are deficient (DD) or in addition to population size information
- Data quality: G = 'Good' (e.g. based on surveys); M = 'Moderate' (e.g. based on partial data with some extrapolation); P = 'Poor' (e.g. rough estimation); VP = 'Very poor' (use this category only, if not even a rough estimation of the population size can be made, in this case the fields for population size can remain empty, but the field "Abundance categories" has to be filled in)

Other Site Characteristics
The river Görälven is flowing in from Norway. At Hälla the river unites with the river Fuluälven and form the river Västerdalälven. The river Görälven: The river Görälven is sometimes calm and sometimes streaming. In the area there are a lot of geomorphological formations with fossil deltas, terraces and erosion steeps. At the rivers rapid sections, the material consists of large blocks. The vegetation north to the river consists of pine heath. At the south side there are more of spruces and birches. The cultural impact along the river is large. There are areas which have been cultivated and there has been cleaning along the river because of floating of timber. The river is important for sport fishing. The river Västerdalälven: The valley in which the river Västerdalälven flows, is created by the water. The river has eroded the base of the mountain Transtrandsfjällen and formed this valley. The valley is narrow and have steep sides. Below the village Lima, the bedrock consists of sandstone and the steep sides disappear. The bottom of the valley is mostly filled with glacifluvial deposits. You can find terraces, smal gravel plateaus, ridges and at one site even a small outwash plain. The river has also created formations such as oxbow lakes. In the north part there is not so much agricultural land and what does exist is mostly owergrown. The further to the south you come the more the agricultural land will increase and here it is to a larger extend still cultivated. In the valley there are many important places for the fauna. The wetlands and the many small lakes are of high value for birds and the strain of beaver is strong here. Many different species of fish exist in the river. Many northern and southern species, both in the flora and in the fauna, meet here. The river has been cleaned up because of floating of timber. |
4.2 Quality and importance
The natural water ecosystem with its different vegetation types and the large number of different species, the many geomorphological formations and the relatively untouched nature is the most important values in this area. Large parts of the area is noted for the beauty of its scenery. It´s of great importance for the outdoor life, for example sport fishing and canooting. The area is now protected against exploitations of water power. |
