Other Site Characteristics

A heterogenouos area, not affected by settlement or urban planing. Adjacent to the sea lies a sand beach with a hooked-shaped cape and a coastal meadow. At higher altitude begins a herb-rich forest and a deciduous swamp-forest. Species in the area is among other; Parnassius mnemosyne, Enallagma cyathigerum, Daldina concentrica, Sarcoscypha coccinea s.lat., Corydalis intermedia and Limosella aquatica.
