Other Site Characteristics
| The reserve is situated in a geomorphological interesting hummocked landscape with extensive mires and untouched primeval charcterised forestparts. The forest is coniferous dominated of a fresh type contributed with varied amounts broad-leaved trees. The broadleaves gets more abundant in the western part due to earlier fire successions. Despite some selective loggings and that the area is proceedingly used for outdoorlife, with activities like hunting and fishing in the 250 lakes, the area has kept it's high qualities of nature. Especially some bog woodland areas is showing very old structures indicated by the continuity-depending species found there. |
