Other Site Characteristics

Lower part of the Poljanska Sora river till confluence with Selka Sora. Important for fish species and riparian vegetation.

4.2 Quality and importance

Relatively well preserved and moderatly poluted river, habitat for Cottus gobio, Cobitis taenia, Barbus meridionalis, Leuciscus souffia and Hucho hucho. River ecosystem processes are still in place, so riparian vegetation is well developed and preserved.
