Other Site Characteristics
| Banjice is the most north-western part of a series of plateaus called Visoki Kras (High Karst). Vegetation is scarcest on the round top of the plateau where meadows and pastures predominate (43%), while in lower altitudes grasslands alternate with stands of forest (45%). |
