Other Site Characteristics

The site represents the sand dune lowland with a mosaic of meadows, pastures, arable land and Robinia cross timbers on the blown and fluvial sands. Geological basement is formed by andesites and rhyolites.

4.2 Quality and importance

Maintenance of the unique parallel occurrence of Pulsatilla pragensia ssp. flavescens and Pulsatilla Zimmermannii. Occurrence of rare Spermophilus citellus.The site partially overlaps with the Poniklecova lucka Nature Reserve.
