Geotectonic levers are sandstone-mudstone formation (paleogen) white carpatians sheet in flysch zone. Typical is formation broad drain from ground water, which we can see in central part of the site. The site represented mozaic of Petrifying springs with tufa formation and mezophill till xerophill plants and animal association.

4.2 Quality and importance

The site is identical with Natural Monument Šifflovské (declared in 1994). The topic of protection are mozaic of wetland and mesophill association with rare and vulnerable plant species, Chara sp., Orchis morio, Dactylorhiza incarnata, Epipactis palustris, Triglochin palustre, Orchis ustulata, Ophioglossum vulgatum and animals Triturus vulgaris, Lacerta agilis, Anguis fragilis.
