Other Site Characteristics

The territory of SKUEV 0817 is a line type of the protected area, a watercourse with adjacent coastal areas as relatively well-preserved biotopes and populations of target species of European significance as well as species of animals and habitats of national importance. The territory is located in the NATURA 2000 area (SKCHVÚ 003 Cerova vrchovina - Porimavie) and it is bound in MR to NATURA SCI-with HUAN 20006 (Sajó-volgy).

Territory is a significant occurrence of protected fish species of European (and national) importance. The territory is also significant with the occurrence of the Lutra Lutra - protected mammal of European significance.
