Other Site Characteristics
| The andesite residue of the lava stream on the central ridge in the northeastern part of the Vtáčnik mountain range. 1000 - 1100 m. The territory is a significant geomorphological formation with steep rock boulders high in the tens of meters and is a demonstration of the columnar erosive disintegration of lava flows. Below the rocky walls there is a primeval beechen undergrowth and debris forest with a typical structure of rough trees and dead wood. |
