  • NP: in case that a habitat type no longer exists in the site enter: x (optional)
  • Cover: decimal values can be entered
  • Caves: for habitat types 8310, 8330 (caves) enter the number of caves if estimated surface is not available.
  • Data quality: G = 'Good' (e.g. based on surveys); M = 'Moderate' (e.g. based on partial data with some extrapolation); P = 'Poor' (e.g. rough estimation)

  • Abundance categories (Cat.): C = common, R = rare, V = very rare, P = present - to fill if data are deficient (DD) or in addition to population size information
  • Data quality: G = 'Good' (e.g. based on surveys); M = 'Moderate' (e.g. based on partial data with some extrapolation); P = 'Poor' (e.g. rough estimation); VP = 'Very poor' (use this category only, if not even a rough estimation of the population size can be made, in this case the fields for population size can remain empty, but the field "Abundance categories" has to be filled in)

Other Site Characteristics

The area is formed by an attached rock clif passing through the steep limestone slopes in the top part of the plateau, with the relief of the karst ridges and the mass of rocks forming the original level of the uplands planed surface . Wetterstein limestones are involved in the geological structure.

4.2 Quality and importance

The territory, which is in complete overlap with the Sokolia skala Nature Reserve, is a rocky cliff, whose northern side forms a steep wall, in the top part with a small-scale extension of the grass-herbaceous communities on the rocky terraces of the Pulsatilla grandis species. Below the rocky cliff is a Sokolia vyvieračka, in the vicinity there is an active formation of the travertin , and the Sadleriana pannonica species is attached to this biotope. The dominant features of the area are the debris and beech forests.
