Kabli loodusala (kattub tervikuna Kabli linnualaga) asub Pärnumaal ning ala pindala on ca 750 ha. Tegemist on põhiosas merealaga. Maismaaosa maastik (ca 24 ha) koosneb peamiselt liivarannast, vanast männimetsast ja sanglepikust. Kabli loodusalal paikneb Kabli linnujaam, kus alates 1968. aastast viiakse läbi lindude sügisrände uuringuid.

4.2 Quality and importance

Kabli loodusalal kaitstavad elupaigatüübid on liivased ja mudased pagurannad (1140), rannaniidud (*1630), eelluited (2110), valged luited (liikuvad rannikuluited – 2120), hallid luited (kinnistunud rannikuluited – *2130), metsastunud luited (2180), luidetevahelised niisked nõod (2190), liigirikkad niidud lubjavaesel mullal (*6270), vanad loodusmetsad (*9010) ning soostuvad ja soo-lehtmetsad (*9080). Luidete elupaigatüübi esinduslikkus ning üldine looduskaitseline seisund on peamiselt väga hea, ohuks siin on tallamine ja inimmõju. Luidetevaheliste niiskete nõgude olukord on hea, luues häid elupaiku linnustiku jaoks.
