Other Site Characteristics

Dry oak forests of Megye-hegy (Megye Hill) remained in a very good state compared to similar habitats of neighbouring areas. Its dominant base rock is dolomite which is covered with thin loess veil in some places.

Vegetation types represent well those which are characteristic to the eastern side of the Balaton Uplands. The fauna of the diverse habitats is very valuable.
