Kiemelt fontossg cl a kvetkezo fajok / lohelyek kedvezo termszetvdelmi helyzetnek fenntartsa / helyrelltsa: pannon gyertynos tlgyesek Quercus patraeaval s Carpinus betulusszal (*91G0) kznsges denevr (Myotis myotis) hosszszrny denevr (Miniopterus schreibersi) In the abandoned prospect tunnels of the site there is an outstandingly significant fauna of bats. The tunnel provides regular summer quarters and labour ward for 1000-4000 specimens of Myotis myotis and 200-400 specimens of Miniopterus schreibersi. Occasionally, Rhinolophus euryale can also be seen here. The wintering population consists of a few specimens of Myotis myotis. There are five such significant populations of Myotis myotis and Miniopterus schreibersi in Hungary.
