Kiemelt fontossg cl a kvetkezo fajok/lohelytpusok kedvezo termszetvdelmi helyzetnek fenntartsa, helyrelltsa: lohelyek: Mszkerlo bkksk (Luzulo-Fagetum) 9110 Szubmontn s montn bkksk (Asperulo-Fagetum) 9130 Fajok: Zemplni futrinka (Carabus zawadskii) The greatest asset of the site are the calciphobic beech forests and birch heaths. In the area of Mokrina there are valuable acid grasslands (with Narduus stricta and Lycopodium clavatum) and tall sedge habitats (Carex hartmannii) that have evolved as the result of secondary succession processes.
